What Is Staging?
What is home staging? Home staging is the art of preparing a home for sale. The goal of staaging is to make the home appealing to most buyers in less time and for more money. You want to highlight the home's strength and down play imperfections.
The main idea behind staging your home is removing clutter, de-personalizing and arrainging furnature and accessories to maximize the home's potential and attract the most amount of potential buyers. Statistics show that a staged home sells faster and for more money than a non-staged home. You want the buyer to visualize your home as their own.
You can not neglect the outside of your home either. Once you have the inside down, you want to work on the curb appeal as well. I will post tips and tricks along the way on this blog.
This was just a brief introduction to staging your home to sell.. more will come soon!
